I am a Licensed Psychologist who employs a flexible, integrated approach to therapy. I recognize the impact family and background have on shaping an individual, and combine that knowledge with cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and other techniques to foster self-understanding, personal growth, and problem-solving. I often collaborate with other providers including healthcare professionals and school personnel to provide comprehensive treatment.
I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from George Washington University in 1993 and my B.S. in Psychology from Tufts University magna cum laude in 1987. Prior to starting my full-time private practice, I was a consulting psychologist at the Kimberton-Waldorf School, a staff psychologist at the Devereux Day School, and a seminar leader in the doctoral internship program at the Devereux Foundation.
I am a member of the American Psychological Association, Pennsylvania Psychological Association, Philadelphia Psychology Network, and Specialists of Schools.
